Join Us In Circle

Sacred Earth 2020/21 Programme

Let’s start with this:

We don’t need fixing.

We don’t need rescuing.

We don’t need a leader or guru to tell us what to do.

It’s not that we need to change…. What we need to become more fully who we are.

What we sense is, you feel a calling in your heart.  A resonance.

We’re living in times of great uncertainty, like a river that has burst its banks.  It’s scary, and at the same time, you’re being held in the flow.  Go with it, and you’ll be taken where you need to go.

It’s Our Time

Time to step into a different way of being.  Only this time, we’ll figure it out together.

We are waking up, finding our courage, speaking our truth, reclaiming what we know is ours as women, our truth, our innate gift of intuition, our power.  We need to live our full expression.

Women are hungry for community; it’s imprinted in our bones, and we are reawakening to this desire.  Often, we start looking without knowing at first what it is we’re seeking.  But when we find it, deep down, we know that this is where we belong.

There is an urgency, a deep need. To sit in circle with other women is to come home to the space that you’ve been searching for; the space where you can just be.  To connect with other women who will really ‘know’ you; give you time to talk about your deepest desire, your truth, your struggle, and who will also be willing to open up and share where they are.

An Invitation

Here’s the truth: The most powerful way we have found to connect to our true purpose and live the life we want to lead is to gather with other women in circle.

They say ‘it takes a village to raise a child’ but the way we look at it? We’re all children of this world, and we’re all children of this world, and we’re all the village, too.  We’re raising ourselves.  And that means growing together, supporting and challenging and inspiring each other.

The Power Of The Sisterhood

We’ve moved into some huge challenges in recent times.  We need to go deep, and allow ourselves to surrender and let go.

Some of our hardest lessons are finding what we need to embrace and what we need to release.  We need to identify what serves us and what depletes us.

Join Us In A Virtual Circle

We’re not coming to you with all the answers.  What I know is that it’s time – really time.  We feel a sense that we cannot not do this – you too? – and that waiting until we have everything lined up is too late.  Besides, we want us to grow this together.  To plant a seed and nurture it; to see what works and do more of it; to be honest about what doesn’t and let it go.

We know in our hearts that this is meant to be, and that what we are goring is something amazing.

It’s comes back to circle.  To the trust that empowers us and brings us back to ourselves.  To the ripple that impacts our families, our work, our sons and our daughters.

This isn’t just about us.  This is about honouring those who have gone before us, and creating a world we can be proud to pass on to future generations.

Who Is This For?

All you need to be welcomed to this circle is to be a woman (or identify as a woman) with a willingness to show up.  To be seen, to be heard, and to share a sacred space together to honour each other.

If you’re feeling this too, join us for our Sacred Earth circle, November 2020.

How It Works

Each month, on the first Saturday, we’ll meet via Zoom, to connect with each other, align with our true purpose, and support each other to shine brighter.

Circles allow us to stop, reflect and ask “What do I need right now? What will nourish me?”  We have a chance to pause, to learn to accept all of who we are.

Join us for our interactive group call, a blend of sharing wisdom and guidance around a monthly theme.

The sharing and support continues in our own private Facebook group.  Depending on our needs and what evolves, there will be a variety of prompts, inspiration, ideas for additional reading and resources.  Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to build lifelong connections as we share this unique, beautiful journey.

The 13 Moons Women’s Circle is a twelve-month journey exploring the Sacred Earth.   Each month has a different theme, which we explore in circle, as well as a beautiful work/guide book.  Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation meditation) happens in circle too.  We meet once a month via Zoom.

There is an invitation to explore your creativity by creating your own Sacred Earth oracle deck.  This is self guided, yearlong project – each month you’ll receive a guide book to create that month’s oracle cards.

We have limited places in the circle as we want to ensure that every woman has the space and time to unwind, reconnect and be heard in the sacred space.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of women come to circle?

We have women from many professions and different walks of life who come to circle.  Our circles have included homemakers, teachers, actresses, nurses, midwives, lawyers, therapists and coaches but everyone is welcome.

Is there an age limit?

The circle is open to women aged 18 and over.

Can transgender women join the 13 Moons Circle?

We welcome any person who identifies as female.

Can I dip in and out of monthly circle meetings?

No, this is a yearlong commitment.  We understand that life happens and you may not be able to attend.  However, you’ll receive a recording of the circle meeting (which includes Yoga Nidra) plus the monthly guidebook and full access to our closed Facebook group.

Why is there a yearlong commitment?

This is a yearlong journey that you’ll be taking with your circle sisters.  Without a commitment it is very much harder to make connections to others and grow as an individual.  We co-create a sacred space and support each other throughout the year.

What is the purpose of circle?

Circle is a place for women to come together and just BE.  It’s a sacred, virtual space where women can show up exactly as they are and have the opportunity to feel heard and supported.  Friendships develop through Circle and we invite participants to carry on the conversation in our members only Facebook group.

What happens in circle?

Each circle meeting is different but it generally takes the form of:

  • ROOT – relax into being with Yoga Nidra (deep rest meditation).
  • NOURISH – a time to gather and share our journey.
  • BLOSSOM – playful, gentle reflection and self-expression.

We have a theme each month that helps guide our circle but we flow with the energy that comes up.  For example, during 2020 a couple of our circles were guided by events such as the pandemic and the black lives matter movement.

I'm shy. Do I have to speak?

No, not at all.  Everyone has the opportunity to speak but if you don’t want to, that’s fine.  There’s no pressure to speak but you will be listened to with respect should you choose to do so.

When does circle gather?

Circle meets via Zoom on the first Saturday of each month from 2pm to 4pm.

What do I need to bring to circle?

Our circles are held via Zoom so you will need technology capable to login to Zoom.  Zoom is available free as an app or as a desktop/laptop version.

Each circle includes Yoga Nidra (deep rest meditation) so wear something comfy and have a yoga mat and a blanket to hand.

Some months there may be a themed activity but you’ll be given plenty of notice to gather supplies.

Can I join in a few months?

We will be closing the doors shortly after our first circle in November.

Can I pay in one instalment?

Yes, that would be great.  We love your commitment!  The annual price is £275.  Alternatively, payment options are available.  Please contact us for further information on payment options.

Is there a Facebook group?

Yes.  It is for paid members only.  It’s important we honour our sacred space and commitment to the Sacred Earth journey.

Why 13 Moons?

We opened our first women’s circle in 2019, following a 13 month journey based on the medicine of 13 moons (months).

While our programme may change each year, we opted to keep the 13 Moons as our circle name.   It reminds us of the lunar cycle, which women are naturally attuned to.

Where are you based?

We run our circles online.  This means you can be anywhere in the world and still join circle (as long as you have an internet connection).

“Everything the Power of the World does is done in circle.  The sky is round, and I have heart that the earth is round like a ball, and so are the stars.  The wind, in its greatest power, whirls.  Birds make their nests in circles, for theirs is the same religion as ours.  The sun comes forth and goes down again in circle.  The moon does the same., and both are round.  Even the seasons form a great circle in their changing, and always comes back again to where they were.”
Black Elk Speaks, John G. Neihardt
